Can I use Cycle without a partner?
Yes. You can track your own cycle privately. A partner connection is only needed to use partner sharing.
Cycle
Cycle in Mallow.ai gives period dates and daily observations a place of their own. Keep a personal calendar, look back at past cycles and decide whether your partner can see anything. Sharing is off by default, and connecting with a partner does not turn it on.

Set up your own cycle with your last period and usual cycle and period lengths. Mark period dates as you go, then review your calendar and past cycle lengths. Daily logs can include flow, symptoms, mood, sleep, activity and notes.
Predictions are calendar-based estimates informed by your settings and logged dates. They are not measurements of ovulation or hormones. When On birth control is enabled, ovulation, fertile-window and chance-of-pregnancy estimates are hidden; period predictions continue.
Pair first, then turn on Visible to Partner in Cycle settings if you want to share. You can separately control cycle predictions, the fertile window and daily logs. Daily log sharing is off by default, even when you choose to share your cycle.
Your partner's view is read-only: they cannot edit your period dates or daily logs. Someone who only wants to view a partner's shared cycle can choose that option without setting up a cycle of their own.
Shared records start from the first day of the month you turn on sharing, never earlier. That boundary stays fixed while sharing remains on. Turning it off and on again, or pairing again, resets the start date.
Predictions use your full history and may reflect earlier patterns, although earlier records themselves stay private. When both cycle sharing and daily log sharing are on, your partner can also read the notes in those shared daily logs.
Yours, or yours together
Cycle asks for your consent before you begin. Mallow.ai does not sell your cycle data, use it for advertising, send it to AI features or use it to train AI models. You can keep tracking for yourself without sharing with a partner.
An optional Cycle lock requires device authentication, such as Face ID on a supported device. This setting applies to your account on that device and is separate from partner sharing. Locking Cycle does not change what you have chosen to share.
Mallow.ai is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Cycle predictions are estimates and must not be used as contraception.
