Shared tasks with a clear person in mind

Choose Me for something you will do, Partner for something you are assigning to them, or Us when each of you has a part to finish. The Me, Partner and Us views help you focus on the tasks that belong to each person or to both.

For an Us to-do, each person marks their own part complete. The status shows when you are done and waiting for your partner, or when it is your turn. A shared task stays open until both parts are complete.

Deadlines and reminders for everyday to-dos

Give a task a title, add notes, and choose a priority when it helps. Set a deadline for something that needs to happen at a particular time, or leave it without one. A small errand and an idea for another day can both stay on the list.

Tasks are grouped by when they are due, with space for those that have no deadline. You can choose a reminder for a task with a deadline, so the useful details and the time you need them are kept together.

Keep a couples to-do list up to date

Plans sometimes move. Reschedule overdue to-dos when you need a new date, then return to the list as your day takes shape. Completed tasks have their own view, leaving open tasks easier to find when you are deciding what to do next.

You can also send your partner a nudge about a task. The task already holds its title, notes and deadline, so the reminder has a clear context. Use the list for shared errands, preparations or the ordinary jobs that come with a life together.

Yours, or yours together

A place for your own tasks, too

You can keep to-dos on your own before pairing. Connecting with a partner does not share the records you already have. While paired, new tasks are visible to your partner unless you turn on Hide from partner for a Me to-do. Tasks for Partner or Us are always visible to both of you.

Your accounts stay separate. If you want another layer of protection on your device, optional App Lock can require Face ID or your device passcode when you open Mallow.ai.

A few things you might wonder

Common questions

Can I assign a task to my partner?

Yes. Once paired, choose Partner when adding a to-do. Choose Us if both of you need to complete a part, or Me for a task of your own.

How does an Us task work?

Each person marks their own part complete. You can see who has finished and who is still to do their part; both parts must be complete to finish the task.

Can I keep a to-do private?

Yes. While paired, turn on Hide from partner for a Me task. To-dos assigned to Partner or Us remain visible to both of you.

Do tasks need a deadline?

No. Leave a task without a deadline when there is no particular time for it. Add a deadline when timing matters, and choose a reminder if you want one.

Can I move an overdue task?

Yes. You can reschedule overdue to-dos to a new date, including today or tomorrow. The task stays on your list with its updated deadline.
