An anniversary countdown for the dates you choose

Add a name and date, then decide whether to count down to it or count up from it. A birthday, a move or the day something began can each have its own Special Day. Set a reminder before an upcoming date, and add a note about what you have in mind.

For dates that come around again, choose a weekly, monthly or yearly repeat. An annual anniversary can stay part of your plans without creating a separate date each year. You can also keep a day as a one-time occasion.

A days together counter for your shared story

Once you are paired, add the date you got together or your wedding date. Relationship Streaks count your days together or days married, while looking ahead to relationship milestones or your next wedding anniversary.

These dates also appear in Relationship, so your story stays connected to Special Days. If you change a relationship date, your existing Moments stay with it. Anniversary and milestone reminders are managed in Special Days.

Keep anniversary memories beside the date

Add Moments with photos and notes to remember what happened, whether it was a celebration or an ordinary afternoon you want to keep. Shared days give you and your partner a place to revisit those memories, leave comments and react to them.

Past moments remain available in History. You can return to an earlier milestone to add a memory later, or share a Special Day as an image when you want to send the countdown beyond the app.

Yours, or yours together

Personal dates and shared dates have their own place

Choose Personal for a date only you can see. Choose Shared to create a date with your paired partner. Pairing does not turn existing personal dates into shared ones, and the Personal or Shared type is fixed when you create the day.

You can use personal countdowns without a partner. Shared days and relationship Streaks need a partner connection, so your own milestones can stay yours while the dates you create together are visible to both of you.

Common questions

Can I count up as well as count down?

Yes. Choose Count up for days since a starting date, or Countdown for the time until a date you are looking forward to.

Can an anniversary repeat every year?

Yes. Special Days supports yearly repeats, as well as weekly and monthly repeats. You can also choose a date that never repeats.

Can I use the anniversary countdown on my own?

Yes. You can create Personal dates without pairing. A Shared day or a relationship Streak requires a connection with your partner.

Can I change a Personal date into a Shared date?

The ownership type is fixed when you create a Special Day. Choose the type that fits the date before saving it.

Can I save photos with a special date?

Yes. Add photos and notes as Moments, then revisit them alongside the day or in its history.
